Weekend Q&A

Weekends can always be a little crazy, so this post is going to be a little different from my norm. I've received a few emails recently asking similar things so I thought it might be good to answer some of the more general questions here.

Don't worry, we will go back to the regular broadcasts blogposts soon!

First, it is the last day to enter my first ever giveaway! Make sure you enter here

Now on to some of your questions:

A popular question has been: Why did you decide to use Weight Watchers?

First, I'm not a doctor or any sort of medical professional, so I can't give medical advice! Consult your doctor before starting any diet program, that is the best bet!

In my personal opinion, I think different diets work for different people. I've been on a lot of diets and some worked and some didn't, at least in the short term. I would lose a little weight and then inevitably put it all back on (and more!). I chose to follow WW because I find the plan very livable. I can figure out my points with my mobile apps and it makes sense to me. I'm not a sponsor or spokesperson for WW, it is just what I follow and I like how it works. Plus, I attend a pretty awesome meeting. I love the people in my group and so they help with me actually wanting to go to the meetings. And weighing in in front of someone is also motivation.

Follow a diet that works best for you and that you find that you are able to manage, whether calorie counting or vegan, whatever you want to do.

Next, a few of you have asked about my blog design and whether I thought it was worth it or not to have a custom one made.

Personally, I think it was definitely worth it. I really wanted to start a blog to connect with other people who are on weight loss journeys or people who have met goal for inspiration and support. I'm so happy to have been able to share with so many wonderful people so far and really you all help hold me accountable! When considering if I should take the leap and get my own blog design I used the reasoning that if I was going to blog in the long term, because I do have a lot of weight to lose, that I should like how my blog looks. I used Hubby Jack Blog Designs and I would definitely recommend him!  I am very happy with my blog design and I'm not the most computer savvy and he really covered it all and has been so great with answering any questions I have. So if you are thinking about a blog design check out his site and contact him!

Sponsoring blogs:

Yes, I do sponsor a few blogs. I think it is a great way to help increase traffic to your site, especially if you are a new blogger. I've decided to sponsor some blogs that I enjoy reading and so far I've been happy with my decisions :)

Also, yes I am now accepting sponsors for my blog. So if you are interested you can check out my sponsor tab here for more information.

How do you receive email responses after posting a comment?

I respond to every comment on my blog as soon as I can. If your email is linked then I will email you directly :) I do this because blogger won't notify you if a comment is posted in response to your original comment on a post. If your email isn't linked, don't worry you aren't being ignored! Check the post and you can see responses to your comments there.

If you aren't sure if your email is connected you can see how here!

I'm not an expert on anything, but I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have for me!

I hope you all are having a good weekend! Anybody doing anything fun?

  3. My mom is doing WW so I know how it works and I agree, it is livable! That's the most important thing of any diet because if you can't do it long term how can you expect to keep the weight off?

  6. Hey! I just started following and am too on this same miserable, although enlightening journey. I have been debating on WW or just using myfitnesspal. Either way, I tend to get burned out. Suggestions? :)
